The second section tells the story of the Pasubio Lodge, its inauguration on July 2, 1922, exactly one-hundred years ago, the massive crowd who climbed up that day – almost four thousand people -, the epic and religious sentiment of it all. And then the Lodge, which had to immediately expand, because it was already too small for how the relationship between people and the mountain was changing.
